Aqlaam Is Back

After several injuries Aqlaam, the talented son of Oasis Dream placed third in the Royal Ascot Queen Anne Stakes and returned to Ascot Saturday to win the Totesport.com Summer Mile Stakes (Group 2) against serious rivals.  Trainer William Haggis, who wants to create stallion value for his owner Sheikh Hamdan Al Maktoum, may send Aqlaam to the Prix Jacques le Marois (Group 1) instead of the Goodwood Sussex Stakes (Group 1) where the owner's other miler, filly Ghanaati (Giant's Causeway USA) competes.
