Getaway Got Away in Front
Getaway, the six-year-old son of Monson Ger, got back in Group 1 company in winning the Deutschland-Preis (Group 1), 1m 4f, by two lengths over his old foe Flamingo Fantasy Ger (Fantastic Light USA).
He was fourth in the Arc under former trainer Andre Fabre. Owner Baron von Ullman switched him to Adlerflug's trainer Jens Hirschberger this year with a new jockey Stephen Hellyn and he has rebounded.
