Breeders' Cup Update
The Breeders' Cup Committee announced that they have chosen The V Foundation for Cancer Research as its primary non-profit beneficiary for the 27th Breeders' Cup World Championships for the second year.
The Breeders' Cup will be held November 5 and 6 at Churchill Downs, KY.
They also announced that the 2011 BC would be held at Churchill Downs as well.
The Board has been considering a permanent venue for the races and Santa Anita seemed to be the frontrunner.
Uncertainty over Santa Anita's management under Magna may have influenced the decision.
